FOR LICENSED THERAPISTS

You don't have to build this alone.

The Collective is a membership community for licensed therapists building their own private practice — referrals you don't have to market for, consultation when you need it, and real colleagues, without the isolation of doing it solo.Mind-body healing, rooted in the nervous system. In person in Encinitas, online across California.

Private practice wasn't supposed to feel this lonely.

You went into this work to sit with people, not to sit alone between sessions wondering where your next referral is coming from. Most therapists either take on the overhead of a full group practice – payroll, employees, management – or go solo and lose the built-in community and referral flow that came with training or working under someone else.

The Collective is the third option: the referrals and camaraderie of a group practice, the independence of your own practice, and none of the employee overhead.

Everything a group practice gave you. None of what it cost you.

  • Referrals, built in.

You're part of an active referral network – new clients routed to you, and shared referrals when a colleague's client is a better fit for you than for them. Growing your caseload stops being something you have to market for.

  • Monthly group consultation.

A standing space, every month, to bring your hardest cases and hear how other licensed therapists are thinking about theirs. Consultation you don't have to arrange yourself.

  • Quarterly connection meetups.

In-person gatherings, four times a year, built purely around knowing the people in your network – because referrals flow more naturally between therapists who've actually met.

  • Embody Lab access.

Ongoing somatic and nervous-system-informed clinical trainings, included in membership – a way to keep developing your clinical skill set long after licensure, without paying separately for every training.

  • 5% off office space

A discount at at Movement Therapy Spaces, our co-working suite in Encinitas, whenever you need a beautifully designed room to see clients in – full-day, half-day, or by the hour. Learn More

Pricing

$175/month

One membership fee. Referrals, consultation, quarterly connection, ongoing training, and a discount on office space — all included.

One or two new clients from the referral network alone covers the cost. Everything after that is what makes the membership worth it.

This is for you if…

  • You're a licensed therapist ready to build (or grow) your own practice

  • You want referrals without doing cold outreach or ad spend to get them

  • You miss having colleagues to consult with

  • You're drawn to somatic, mind-body work and want ongoing training in it

  • You'd rather pay one flat membership fee than piece together marketing, training, and consultation on your own

And when you need a room, we've got one too.

The Collective isn't tied to a physical office — you can be a member wherever you practice. But when you do need a professional space to see clients, Movement Therapy Spaces is our co-working suite in Encinitas, and Collective members get 5% off every booking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Section Styles faq

How are referrals actually distributed?

Referrals reach members in two ways. The first is directly through Dr. Kelly Vincent. Potential clients regularly find Nourished Wellness Group and drkellyvincent.com through search, social media, and word of mouth. When someone reaches out and their presenting concern aligns with your specialty, Dr. Vincent makes a warm handoff: she introduces the potential client to you personally, and you take it from there by scheduling a consultation call. The second is through your fellow Collective members. As you build trusted relationships with other licensed therapists in the community, through monthly consultation, quarterly meetups, and shared trainings, you become the person colleagues think of when a client needs your kind of expertise. The Collective also works the other way: you'll have a network of therapists you know and trust when your own clients need a referral.

Do I need to be local to join?

For now, yes. Collective membership is currently open to licensed therapists based in the San Diego area. Keeping the community local lets members meet in person, build real relationships, and keep the connected culture that makes The Collective work. We're exploring a virtual Collective for therapists outside San Diego. If you're interested, please reach out anyway and we'll add you to the waitlist, so you'll be among the first to hear when it opens.

How is The Collective different from a group practice or a directory like Psychology Today?

The Collective sits between the two. In a traditional group practice, therapists work as employees or contractors under someone else's business, which often means giving up control of their schedule, fees, and clients. A therapist directory like Psychology Today works the other way: it lists your profile so clients can find you, but there are no colleagues, no consultation, and no relationships behind the listing.

The Collective gives you the community and connection of a group practice while you keep full ownership of your own private practice. Members meet monthly for group consultation, gather quarterly in person, train together through the Embody Lab, and get to know each other's work well enough to refer with confidence. It's a professional home for independent therapists in San Diego, not a place you work for or a profile you pay to maintain.

Do I keep my own practice, clients, and business name?

Yes. Joining The Collective doesn't change who owns your practice. You keep your business name, your clients, your fees, and your schedule. You also continue to handle your own intake, billing, records, and malpractice insurance, just as you do now. Any client who comes to you through a warm handoff or a colleague's referral becomes your client, in your practice. The Collective adds community, consultation, and training around the practice you've already built. It doesn't absorb it.

What is the application process to join The Collective?

Joining is a mutual process, because fit matters on both sides. First, you'll fill out a short application that helps us get to know you and your practice. Next, we'll schedule a call to talk in more depth about what you're looking for and whether The Collective can offer it. If it feels aligned for both of us, we'll welcome you into the group.

Is there a limit on how many therapists can join?

Yes. The Collective is intentionally capped at a size that serves the group well. Keeping membership limited protects the close-knit culture members value and helps ensure everyone gets real benefit from being here, from meaningful consultation to relationships strong enough to refer within. If the group is full when you apply, we're happy to add you to a waitlist and reach out when a spot opens.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no long-term contract, and you can cancel your membership at any time. We just ask for 30 days' notice so we have time to handle the administrative side of offboarding you as a member.
