MENTORSHIP FOR THERAPISTS
I used to think my business background was a detour. Turns out it's exactly why I can help you build what you're dreaming up.
1:1 guidance for therapists building the practice, and the career, they actually want. Grounded in real clinical experience and a career in marketing and media before I ever became a psychologist.
You were trained to be a clinician. Not to run a business.
Most therapist-mentors learned the business side the same way you're trying to – by trial and error, late at night, hoping something sticks. I came at it from the other direction entirely. Before I was a psychologist, business was my career. So when we work on your fees, your niche, your marketing, your offers, or your next big move, you're not getting a clinician who figured out a little marketing along the way. You're getting someone who did it at the highest level first, then spent the last eight years applying it to this field.
Before I was a therapist, I was in business.
My bachelor's is in Business Marketing, and I spent the first chapter of my career in the industry. I started in traditional media buying at Initiative, a global advertising agency, purchasing television spots for Lionsgate Films. From there I moved into digital marketing at another agency, supporting brands like Rubio's and Charlotte Russe. Then I headed to San Francisco and worked with companies including Visa, History Channel, Showtime, and eBay.
And then I realized it wasn't what I was meant to do. So I did a full 180 – went back to school, earned my doctorate, and became a licensed clinical psychologist. (I tell that whole story in my book, Dear Anxious Woman.)
For a long time I thought my business background was a detour – even something to downplay. It turned out to be one of the most valuable things I have. It's the foundation underneath every venture I've built in the last eight years: a private practice, a group practice, a collective, a coworking space, digital courses, a signature program, an audio course with The Great Courses, and a forthcoming book with translation rights sold in four countries before it's even out.
That's the range I bring to our work together – clinical depth and real business fluency. Most therapists never get access to both in one person. You would.
Who I work with
Mentorship tends to speak to two kinds of therapists.
01.
If you're early in your career
Maybe you already have the clinical skills and just can't quite feel it yet – the imposter voice still louder than the evidence. Maybe you're genuinely still finding your footing as a clinician. Either way, you're also expected to run a business no one taught you: the fees, the niche, the marketing, the website, the terrifying question of whether anyone will actually book.
Mentorship covers both sides of that. We can talk through your actual cases – not supervision, but real consultation with someone a few steps ahead – and work on building the practice you actually want, instead of the one you fall into by default. I'll help you skip a good chunk of the trial and error I went through.
02.
If you've been doing this for a while
You're good at the work, and something in you is restless. Maybe you want to write a book, teach, consult, build a digital offering, or step back from a full caseload without leaving the field entirely. Those paths exist – but nobody maps them for you, so most clinicians circle the idea for years without a place to think it through out loud.
That's most of what this is: a person who's actually done it, asking the right questions, helping you get clear on what you want and then concrete about how. Not a formula. Your version.

Kind Words
“Thank you for all of your support and guidance. It's truly helping me – with operations, with my vision, and with my confidence. I feel so lucky and grateful for our talks together.”
– Anastasia Voron, Founder of Doma, a maternal therapy group practice
How it works
It all starts with a call.
Before anything's booked, we'll hop on a short, no-cost call to make sure I'm the right person to help with what you're working on. If it's a fit, we go from there.
From there it's simple:
A single session – $325.
One focused hour to untangle something specific. The easiest way in, and worth it even if it's all you do.A package of four – $1,200 ($300/session).
For deeper, ongoing work with real momentum between sessions.
No confusing tiers, no menu to decode. If you're not sure which fits, that's exactly what the call is for.
