What is a panic attack?
A panic attack is a sudden, intense episode of fear or anxiety that can cause a variety of physical sensations such as heart palpitations, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, and a feeling of impending doom. They can occur unexpectedly and can be very distressing for the individual experiencing them.
What to expect
In this mini-class, you will learn a step-by-step guide on how to better manage a panic attack while in public. This is a topic that comes up in my therapy practice, so we thought it would be helpful to craft a mini-class for you, our Studio Members. The intention of this mini-class is to give you tangible, practical skills to utilize at the moment when a panic attack arises in a public setting. We will also explore a bit about underlying triggers.
Grab a notebook, pen, and a soothing beverage, and let’s dive in!
